Beginning of the year is always fill with hope & enthusiasm. In conjunction with yearly Chinese Lunar New Year, the Charity Group of the Forth Branch of Buddhist Light International Association (BLIA) Malaysia is involved in distributing Chinese New Year Food Gift Box to 20 poor families living in Bentong, Pahang.
CERTO Family Member has voluntarily raise their hand to help. Total 4 CERTO Family Members gathered at Bus Station, Bentong, Pahang on 18/01/2022, 8:00 in the morning, same day with Thaipusam Day.
We hope to take this opportunity to let people feel the breath and warmth of the new year. Among the 20 poor beneficiaries, there are elderly people in their 70s living alone without their family members.
The food Gift Box that we distributed included Abalone, Ginseng, Supplements, Nestum, seaweed cake, rice cakes and CNY cookies, and the master’s Chinese New Year calligraphy.
We were delighted to be able to send the warmth to the elderly. Nevertheless, we were happy and enlighten to see the joy & happiness shown on each elderly face.
